Fixed Storage

WAREHOUSE SHELVING THAT MATCHES THE TURNOVER LOOP

Storage shelving is the fixed half of a warehouse. The trolleys and turnover racks circulate, while the shelving stays put and holds the buffer. The four classes on this page cover the steps most operations go through, which are hand-loaded small parts, mixed cartons, dense heavy goods on laminated shelves and full pallets on selective racking beams.

Uprights and beams are cut on our 6,000 W plate laser and powder coated on the automatic line, and every project is built to order, with bay sizes, level counts and colors following your drawings the same way our OEM projects do. Racking from this line organizes raw material, semi-finished and finished inventory in warehousing and distribution operations.

Ping Fang shelves have various models, different specifications and loading capacities, and different colors and various designs. More about this product line is on the Warehouse Storage Shelves solution page.

Where they work Warehousing and e-commerce fulfillment

Shelving organizes raw materials, semi-finished goods and finished inventory for fast picking.

Two structures Shelf panels and pallet beams

Laminated shelf levels are loaded by hand, selective racking beams are served by forklift.

Made in-house Laser cut, welded and powder coated

Uprights and beams run down the same cutting, welding and coating line as our racks.

Model Ledger

SHELF RACK RANGE BY DUTY CLASS

Four base models from the old factory line, rated between 200 and 3,000 kg per level. Bay dimensions and final level loads are confirmed per project, since every racking order is built to the site.

Warehouse Storage Shelves

4 models

All four classes of warehouse shelves ship powder coated, and a project quotation needs the bay width, depth and load per level.

How each shelf rack duty class loads and plans

The table names the four classes, and this section shows how goods arrive on each one and what to plan the bay around. The maximum load per level comes from the old product sheets, and final bay sizes and level loads are confirmed on the project drawing.

01

Light duty rack, loaded at arm height

PFWS001, shelf levels up to 200 kg each

Bins, boxed small parts and slow movers go on one at a time by hand. The load per level is small, so the gain comes from more levels within reach rather than stronger panels, and with the heaviest boxes at waist height the bay picks comfortably all day.

02

Medium duty rack, the carton workhorse

PFWS002, shelf levels up to 700 kg each

Full cartons and picking stock load by hand or off a lift table. Level spacing is set to the tallest carton plus a hand's width. Medium bays run in long aisle rows, so consistent level heights matter more than maximum load.

03

Heavy duty laminated shelves, dense and low

PFWS003, laminated shelf levels up to 3,000 kg each

Molds, fittings and machine parts slide onto laminated panels carried on beam frames. Single pieces are heavy, so the bay gets fewer, lower levels, and the heaviest items belong on the bottom level with a clear lift-table approach.

04

Selective racking, served by forklift

PFWS004, beam levels up to 2,000 kg each

Full pallets go up on forks, one pallet position per beam pair, and every position stays directly accessible, which is why it is the default for pallet warehouses. Bay width follows your pallet size, aisle width follows the truck's turning circle, which is why this class is always quoted from a floor plan.

Where warehouse shelving goes to work

These are the four turnover scenarios our racks and shelving serve, and the class to start from follows how goods arrive at the shelf.

Production line buffering

Semi-finished parts staged beside the line between process steps, placed and picked by hand.

Start from light duty

Warehouse sorting

Mixed cartons and binned stock sorted into labelled bays across long aisle runs.

Start from medium duty

Distribution center picking

Fast-moving goods are picked all day, while dense heavy stock sits on laminated shelf levels.

Start from heavy duty

E-commerce fulfillment

Palletized replenishment above and hand picking below, in beam bays served by forklift.

Selection Guide

HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR DUTY CLASS

The class follows how the goods arrive at the shelf, by hand, by lift table or by forklift, and the bays are then sized from your aisle plan.

Racking is quoted per project. With a floor sketch, the ceiling height and what each level must hold, we return a bay layout with the quotation.

  • Light duty

    PFWS001

Small parts, bins and boxes placed by hand on backroom and workshop storage shelving.

  • Medium duty

    PFWS002

Mixed cartons and picking stock in fulfillment operations where staff work the aisles all day.

  • Heavy duty laminated

    PFWS003

Dense storage of heavy goods such as molds, fittings and machine parts on laminated shelf levels.

  • Selective racking
